URB’s engagement in wellbeing efforts for veterans.
By: United Relief Foundation
Since 1986, Brian Urbanowski himself (photo left) and URB, Inc. have supported a number of charitable causes, and his philanthropic efforts continue as a United Relief Foundation Hope and Help Patron to help veterans.
As a Hope and Help Patron, URB’s financial contribution and resources are making it possible for the United Relief Foundation to develop the Foundation’s Horticultural-Holistic Health and Wellness program that was stopped in 2020 because of COVID-19 concerns and restrictions.
Brian even lent a helping hand to get phase one of the program underway to serve up to 35 Eddie Beard Vet House (EBVH) residents.
EBVH is serving as a model in the development of the program for transitional living environments.
The program shall provide veterans with health and wellness tools to help increase their ability to be self-sufficient, more involved in the well-being of other veterans, and be positive contributors to their communities and society.
